The Southern Skåne Regiment P 7 is now recruiting soldiers for the 71st Battalion, which currently has a primary focus on staffing Sweden's contribution to the multinational brigade in Latvia (LNLV27). The position involves employment at P 7, 71st Battalion where you can be part of a historic task for the regiment, the Armed Forces in general, and contribute to Sweden's activities within the framework of NATO.

We are looking for you who have completed basic training with approved grades and want to continue your career within the Armed Forces at P 7.

If you have a position training according to the above, then you may be the one we are looking for. There is no opportunity to train for a new position; you apply with the basic training you have completed.

Main Tasks

The current planning direction is for the battalion to carry out operations within the framework of LNLV. The operations initially include a training phase in Sweden during the autumn of 2026, followed by operations in Latvia in the spring of 2027. Finally, the concluding phase of LNLV will be carried out, and thereafter the employment will continue as GSS/K as part of the unit at P 7.

INFORMATION ABOUT EMPLOYMENT

Employment Type

Employment will be offered as GSS/K. The IMI agreement will apply during rotation to Latvia. The employment means that you will be war-placed at P 7, at the military unit you are employed at.

Compensation

The Armed Forces apply individual salary setting. During rotation to Latvia, the IMI agreement applies, which means that the salary consists of base salary x 1.3 + 12000 SEK per month, with an overseas allowance of 4500 SEK per month, child allowance of 4000 SEK per month, as well as an operational allowance that can be revised each year (currently 2800 SEK per month).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

All candidates for the position must undergo physical tests and security clearance interviews. If you proceed in the recruitment process, you need to undergo fitness assessment for employment and for deployment. Tests are planned to be conducted during weeks 613 and 617. Information about the Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also known as P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct military basic training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized, and motorized combat with the support of our main vehicles, which are: tank 122, combat vehicle 9040C, and armored personnel carrier 360.

P 7 has full-time and part-time staff serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
